*Glatria looked carefully at Yan toh, her facial expressions beaconed questions but her it motioned to her mind that she was not trapped anymore. She moved her head slightly and stared directly at Dimitri.
There was silence. An unsure silence that filled Yan toh's eyes with curiosity... did she... recognise him? Glatria stared lenglty at Dimitri, he robotic arms shirt circuiting and letting out sparks where bare wires began to spring, she was emotionless. Dimitri stared at her also emotionless, inside almost praying that she recognised him. Glatria blinked with her one working eye lid and lay her head back smiling*

Glatria: Hello... Dimitri.

*She turned to look away from him... while the two echidna's looked at each other in shock..*

Yan toh: Yo- You recognise him? I thought... you couldn't remember anything.

*Glatria turned her soft head to yan toh with a tear running down her face for her glistened eye*

Glatria: What happened? *she said with a ill darkened voice*

*she gestured Frustration as her face turned from weakness to overwhelming dis harmony. Yan toh looked confusingly at Glatria and when he was going to open his mouth to speak Dimitri interrupted swiflty, while bringing out his echidna clawed spines to walk, he edged over to a box close to his work bench and began to take out equipment*

Dimitri: You've been asleep for eight years my dear. *he said with a monotoned response*

*Glatria watched him closely, she had no expression, she only felt numb...held back and also sad*

Glatria: Eight years... Has it really been that long. Did you always...?

*Surprised by this but still montoned and emotionless, as he placed screws carefully on the table with new part of refined metal he replied simple*

Dimitri: Eight years is a lot of time my dear, a lot of things have changed... I'm over six hundred years old if you don't recall.

*Glatria's face turned to that of annoyance rather than concern, she turned her head to Dimitri and saw in his red eyes and feeble expression a love struck robot head. For the moment she remained frowning at him with a serious and mistrusted face but then she slowly revealed a very wide smile, almost laughing. He looked directly back at her and his robotic muscles held a twitch of which he could not resist, eventualy he smiled back and they laughed hysterically together*

*Yan toh couldn't help but be confused, he stood at the corner of work bench frowning as the rabbot and echidna head laughed like some old time couple. Then again..he Had never seen his grandmaster laugh before... He thought to himself 'I don't think he's ever laughed...not like this....'*

*Glatria moved her non robotic arm to Dimitri and pulled him close to her with what ever strength she had in her robotic arm to hold herself up, she embraced him and spoke in a most joyace way*

Glatria: My old friend... What on mobius did you do to yourself, I remember you wanting to fit with your cybercanetics but there has to be a limit ya know.

*He chuckled slightly and feeling the inside of his face go tingly with what used to be blushing, he moved back from her and looked seriously into her eyes for a moment*

Dimitri: You my dear, have grown up so beautifully, despite the location of your hibernation...*he placed a claw onto hers and then looked up at her sorrowfully* There is a lot i'm afraid... we need to catch up on.

*Snively was sitting down in his own little lab, filled with screens and buttons, but his attention was drawn of course to one pulled out from the wall, he talked directly to it with a headset firmly resting on his head. He stroked the screen and talked in a gushy voice, which was suddenly interrupted by the sound of disruptive speakerphone *psssgghhhsstt* it abruptly announced, it was his uncle of course*

Robotnik: Colin! Get down to the lab! NOW!

*snively snarled at the speaker phone*

Snively: Tch. I'm being bellowed at. I have to go.

*He turned to the computer and blew a kiss to it*

Snively: I'll call you tomorrow?

*the computer screen replied* I'd hope so! Good night, my Snivey-kins.

Snively: Good night, my dear Regina! *he proclaimed turning off the computer screen and pushing himself harshly of the cornerd chair. He tore off his headphone set and marched irritated outside his room like an interrupted teenager*

Snively: Of all the times for him to call me! Why can't he do whatever it is himself?!

*he marched and then paused in sudden realisation outside his room when the doors slammed closed behind him*

Snively: Wait.... He called me "Colin" *his expression changed to that of shock* He's never called me by my birth name...

*He carried on walking in deep thought, rubbing his chin as he walked the egg shaped hallway towards his uncle's lab (which wasn't that far away... great planning snively.) ' Maybe he is really getting worse? The mad babbling was par for the course, but his sloppiness around the eggdome, and now he's calling me by the wrong name.....' He reached the great double doors of his uncles study which had eggman's icon imprinted in perfect symmetry -- death the kid fan girl screeches somewhere -- Snively paused in front of it still puzzling in his mind 'If he's truly falling apart though, then Regina's plans could be accelerated...' The doors opened and Snively pulled a wicked grin, he had to pull of the loyal nephew for only a few hours longer... then it would all be his.*

Snively: I'm here dear uncle. What is it you needed me to-...?

*Robotnik's voice boomed from the other side of the room at Snively interrupting his formability... snively wasn't fooling anyone at this point but he didn't care*

Robotnik: Get behind the blast shield and watch the monitors!

*Snively turned his expression into a pug one as he marched slowly behind the blast shield sarcastically replying*

Snively: Of course sir! What are we testing today?

*without looking at the screens he smirked to himself*

Snively: The egg Minnow perhaps? Or maybe an egg rabbit to hop on sonic? hmmmm?

*suddenly a huge blast of fire hit the blast shield, it rumbled ferociously brushing it's wind power against it making a 'Bwoooosh' sound. A very terrified Snively appeared from corner of the blast shield timidly shaking*

Robotnik: Test complete! What are the readouts?! *he boomed triumphantly*

Snively: w-w- well a -a -above your e- e-expectations, s- s- sir

*Robotnik grinned widely from inside his new fire throwing machine and responded to himself*

Robotnik: Excellent!

*he echoed his voice from inside his fire throwing machine and proclaimed*

Robotnik: The egg pheonix is ready for launch!

*Snively coughed horrendously as the smoke of the blast started to stretch around the blast shield, okay maybe this was the time to get serious... the egg pheonix looked beyond menacing, more menacing than most of his uncle's designs as he so arrogantly proclaimed before... oh the regret. He was scared. Not his cowedly usual frightened scared but this fear was general. His uncle's machine only showed that not only was he thinking more destructively, but he was becoming dangerous, as lein da had previously stated. 'What on mobius was he planning on doing with that anyway, burn the eggdome?' Snively over exaggerated to himself.
Soon the smoke cleared up and eventually eggman climbed out of the eggpheniox and edged his way to Snively's position to take a good look at his new death machine. Snively stepped backwards away from his uncle, the intimidation of Robotnik's present personality seamed all but unavoidable. Snively stood behind his uncle almost shaking but he kept to his mind that his sweetheart would put Robotnik in his place and if she doesn't Sonic surely would. The thoughts of a coward.*

*Robotnik stood there and marvelled at his glorious work*

Robotnik: With the egg pheonix, Collin *again with the name Snively thought* Victory will be ours! (cheesey much)

Snively: Y- yes sir... B- but don't you think this is a- a little t-t-to much? E-even for sonic...

*Robotnik glared at Snively sharply and then grinned while rested his hand on Snively's bald head and patted it gently*

Robotnik: Why Collin, you can never over kill those you intend to kill. *he smirked* Now don't you worry, this isn't just for that rodant! It's or all his little fighters..

*snively adjusted his expression around the hand of his uncle and responded in a less timid voice*

Snively: but Sir, what if the freedom fighters create a diversion while the chaotix come and back them up... surely they wo-

Robotnik: Yes, yes I've thought of that, which is why we'll create a little diversion of our own... using our new legion soilders of course.

Snively: b- but wouldn't that put them in the line of fire from the pheonix, s- sir?

*Robotnik paused and looked down at Snively with a wide grin*

Robotnik: Of course it would, it's too bad really but sacrifices must be made for the good of destroying those rats.

*Snively's expression changed back to that of concern, what was he going to tell Dimitri? He had made an alliance with him to fight along side Regina... of course Regina.. how could he almost forget. With the Echidna out of the way, then no one will stand in their way of victory! He would just need to tie in Regina's plan with his Uncles new plan, once the freedom fighters get to him who knows how things would turn out...especially now that Robotnik's mind was all but able to comprehend sanity. It was like he was standing on the edge of plank about to be pushed into deep water, to drown. A sinister grin appeared on his face...all he would need was that extra push and who better than that hedgehog, the very one who had been chipping away at Robotnik's sanity for years.*

Snively: Sir, what if the hedgehog and his freedom fighters push past our barricade of dark egg legion soldiers and destroy the pheonix? I don't suppose you have back up plans.

*Robotnik looked down at his nephew...his red eyes glowing in the reflection of his circular glasses as he continued to grin wickedly*

*Dimitri set down his tools and placed them carefully back into one of the wood crates while Glatria swung her robotic leg carefully to the side of the work bench and tried to adjust her arm's carefully. Yan toh at this moment got off from one of the crates and helped her to adjust with a spare screw driver, he'd been sitting there in silence watching and listening to the whole ordeal, Dimitri explained in as much detail as he could their situation and more importantly their opposition...what he failed to mention Yan Toh noticed was Elias's whole story...and also Glatria's sister, Bunnie d' coollete. Glatria noticed Yan toh's expression as he helped to adjust her robotic arm and moved her gaze back to Dimitri quickley*

Glatria: Julian.... * she looked down at her robotic limbs carefuly and then moves her non cyber hand towards her robotic eye and felt it with her finger tips...Dimitri turned back to her*

Dimitri: my dear, I realise it's a lot to take in *he took her hand with one of his spines and dragged it down away from her face. He stroked it cautiously with one of his claws while looking up into her non robotic eye* But now you know our position, our alliances... *Yan toh smirked to himself...if there's one thing Glatria had in common with her sister...it was her pity for others...*

Glatria: This invasion...is happening in only a few short hours you say. Julian's sanity has decayed due to the nephew of Charles? The Charles? I remember that hedgehog...he used to work in the labs didn't he? But... no wait... that boy... that little blue boy... *a smile spread across her face as she tried to contain her laughter...*

Dimitri: As ironic as it may sound-

*yan toh froze... she knew sonic the hedgehog?*

Yan toh: Wait a second... You know sonic the hedgehog?!

*Glatria pulled her grin down to almost a frown and then a sarcastic grin*

Glatria: I don't know any Sonic but I knew a "Maurice" the hedgehog. He was just a toddler when I met him. That was way back before I was taken to the acorn castle.... Julian Robotnik needed assistants in the lab along side Sir charles and offered myself to help around along side Sir charles's infant nephew... after a couple years when I left to Castle acorn and - well you know the story I'm sure... *She glanced at yan toh's eyes becoming to the familiarity* He came looking for me which is where I met this bubble head *she winked at Dimitri and elbow rubbed his bubble*

*Dimitri coughed and try to pull away but couldn't help but smile at her charisma*

*Yan toh's expression was still of confusion...she seamed impossible...to even be alive in the same world as them...so Alien*

Yan toh: *He changed the subject* One thing Glatria...No one calls Robotnik "Julian" anymore...*he trailed of noticing how arrogant he sounded*

Glatria: Oh? What do they call him now? *she perked up at him, smiling*

*Yan toh and Dimitri looked at each other in concern and together murmured "eggman"... Glatria paused as there was silence in the room, but she couldn't pause for long, an enormous grin stretched across her face, she tried to contain an uncontrollable spastic laugh which caused her to fall from the work bench. Dimitri helped her back but she was still laughing and then both of them couldn't help but being to laugh too...Finally she calmed down after a full minute of laughter...*

Glatria: w- w- who came up with that name!!!! *she whiped a tear from her non robotic eye leaning on Yan toh who was laughing hystericly*

A voice: Why, that rodent did of course.

*A sudden voice came from the door and everyone's laughter suddenly paused in fear...*

*Snively walked down back along his eggshapped corridor, he paused and started to pase in front of his door way. With the new plans in motion would have to Warn the Echidnas...he grinned "why should I have to warn them? Soon enough we'll have soldier's to spare...However what if Dimitri catches on to this bait...I suppose a little bit of fair warning would make him less eager to attack me during the invasion... not that I'm afraid of that pompous old echidna" He thought he would just ease the situation by telling him his people would go to the front lines, but he could just be oblivious about the egg-pheonix....He continued to pase in front of his room when to the corner of his eye he saw lein da talking down to the echidna beside her, he gulped and then smirked...He needed to confront both Dimitri and Lien da.*

Lein Da glanced arrogantly straight ahead as she walked beside Te yan, preoccupied with her thoughts she remained distant in her gaze. Te yan could not help but glance now and then at her, they had an array of awkward silence but mainly because Lein da was in deep thought. Lein Da's expression was a mix of emotions filling her mind, to interrupt that would mean a harsh punishment. He smiled and lent his arms round the back of his head while they walked.
Lein Da's mind was indeed full of complex thoughts, mainly the thoughts of her persition as Kommissar. For most of her life now, She's been fighting to take position as 'Grandmaster' after all she had been through take that position, all the lies all the assassination, foiled. Foiled and foreboded from her by her great- (many greats later) Grandfather. She scowled, there was not much she could do about it with the current situation, they had already lost many number's of Legion soilders due to the dark legion civil war (issues # ) and the return of Enerjak (issue #181-184).

She glanced side ways at the smiling dark legion soldier carrying a heavy iron axe which wrapped round the back of his to balance his pose. Te yan was an elder twin brother of Yan toh, both purple echidna's of a unfortunate background. Their mother was a highly respected member of the dark legion, third in command under the late Luger (assinated). She however under an unfortunate incident was blamed for the death of Grandmaster Luger after faulty design of his new machine (used by lein da and Kragok his first born against him...) She was banished from the dark legion. Being she was part of the cyber addiction but had no where to go due to her appearance she could only remain in hidden Echidnaopolis, there she eloped with a young Echidna...walker's forbid the connections the echidna had with Guardian brotherhood, all Lein da knew was she could see the family resemblance.
The family resemblance however was less prominent in the younger twin brother, Yan toh. A humble character whom grasped the attentions of many respected legion solders, his mother's respect seamed to fall with him on the family tree. His intellect was also highly regarded, so much in fact that his position in battle would be that of strategic value, although his identity was hidden along side his comrades he was kept ignorant of his heritage despite his intellect.  Lein da highly respected the young echidna, much like her father respect Yan toh's mother. Not that she respected her father, or he respected her, she would always be nothing to him... compared to 'Julie su'...Her perfect half sister...

The two walked in silence for a considerable amount of time, their location (Dimtri's lab and then the doctors seamed almost unreachable at their pase. Yan toh glanced every now and then at Lein Da, he was still smiling to himself hanging his arms around the axe hilt. He was smiling on the outside but inside his thoughts were preoccupied with similar thoughts to Lien da, mainly those of his family and brother. His was always considered the family favorite, his mother always praised Yan toh, bought him up to be the perfect "scientists", 'Joining the dark egg legion to discover more of the Eggman's secrets had to be a dumb idea.' He thought to himself, what could he accomplish from this? 'There arn't many chicks here either, apart from...' He looked side ways again at lein da, then frowned... Yan toh. He almost scowled at his brother's name, he couldn't all the way scowl though... his brother was always there for him, the only family he had. The only one who cared. Lein da glanced sideways this time at Yan toh, he was frowning, the first time she's ever seen him frown, her face turned concerned, why did she care? Her glance flinched back forwards.
The two echidna's eventually reached the end of the crossed egg corridors, Te yan barely remembered the way as it seamed to go in all directions, a laberanth of darkend egg shaped corridors. The corridor remained empty, the door to Dimitri's study...was gone!
